SUNRIDE: New Album To Feature Guest Appearance By HANOI ROCKS Frontman
January 10, 2005Finland's SUNRIDE will be releasing their third album, "The End Justifies the Means", through People Like You Records on Monday, March 21 on both CD and limited edition LP. The 40-minute album was recorded during November and December 2004 at Seawolf Studios (AMORPHIS, HANOI ROCKS) in Helsinki with bands own sound engineer, Mikko Poikolainen, and features guest appearances from SWALLOW THE SUN's Mikko Kotamäki (backing vocals on several songs) as well as HANOI ROCKS' Michael Monroe (harmonica on "One Tragedy").
The first single from "The End Justifies the Means" will be off the song "Waiting for the Grace" and the CD will be available on Monday, February 21. The B-side of the single, a cover of XYSMA's "We Just Came Inside", sees SUNRIDE paying homage to one of their main influences.

In addition, SUNRIDE have recorded a version of DOZER's "Way To Redemption" for the upcoming DOZER/SUNRIDE split picture 7" where bands cover each other. The single will be available through People Like You Records during the spring of 2005. Aaron Turner of ISIS/Hydra Head will be designing the cover art for this specific release.
As for touring, the group will embark on a Finnish tour in April and the 18-date European tour in May. Dates will be available soon.
